Another Dream Come True – A Road Trip!

Having finally got the time to blog again after struggling with my final semester exams, I thought I’d write a small post about our awesome road-trip. I had always been fascinated by the idea of a road-trip. It symbolises everything I love – bikes, the countryside, camaraderie.

We set out to Sholinghur (around 120kms away from Chennai), where my friend‘s grandparents lived. Ever since I got my P200, I had been wanting to test it out on long distances. Plus its always fun when going away with the guys. We reached Sholinghur in 4 hours (we returned in 2!) and set out to this temple on top of a hill. Then we returned and watched IPL and moved to this farm house that my friend’s family owned. It was pretty creepy (it was totally isolated and to add to the horror-effect was a power cut!), but we made it alive the next morning

Next day, we went swimming in the well and then had tender coconut and mangoes from the farm. There was a befitting farewell lunch prepared for us and with it, we left home with memories of a great experience
