I got my phone back. Finally!

Happiness. That should describe my feeling now. Remember my rant about how Nokia dipped its beak into my rear? Well I’m happy to announce that they finally fixed my phone (for free!). Trance drumming and loud applause.

Magically, the same people who demanded 3000 rupees for the repair job took the phone in without any conditions when it was turned in a week later. They promised me of returning the phone in 3 days and in true Nokia style, they gave it back after 10 days. I was lucky that they took the phone with 3 days to go for the warranty’s expiry! Call me

  1. 5610 getha!…We’re both lucky to get our phone repaired .But still i recommend all those planning for a new mobile to go for SE,Samsung or other brands.Say No to ‘NO’kia

  2. i have an ericsson..and always have felt an ‘attachment’ to it! i lost my 1st mobile..the swashbuckling W200i and cldnt eat for weeks coz it felt like my dog died! i exachanged the next phone i bought – a basic J210 with my uncle falling insanely stupid over his used Nokia 6085. strange enuf…Nokia which was supposed to connect ppl disconnected my from most of them! this had nothing technical to do with it…but a lot of gut-feeling stuff. one of my best friends picked up a silly fight with me a few weeks into the exchange and try as i might i cldnt patch up! we still remain disconnected! a lotta buddies misunderstood stuff i said….on the whole it was really spooky and it hit me one fine moment that i dont exaclty gel with mt phone anymore! maybe if i had held on to it long enuf i too wldve posted rants abt technical fautlts. then my golden hour returned and i exchanged my flip-disconnector to a basic Sammy. i got along very well with it and der were no slips! finally my moment of reunion with Ericsson arrived a couple of months ago…i’m now a peacefully satisfied owner of a SEK330…the added glitz is that half d price came from a coupon i won wen my article got published in “The Hindu” so i almost half bought it myself! believe it or not…that friend Nokia broke me from…came back with a full fledged apology a day into my Ericsson life! did i accept? welll…thats a long story!

  3. @Nethra: I think we should move this to Crushed Paper as a separate post! But thankfully I lost no friends because of the phone. I just lost my peace of mind, thats all

  4. @Nethra: Is that a comment or a write up?! .Well just as pras said all i encountered was technical glitches with ‘NO’kia.Nothing emotional. You can do this script into a movie like Yaavarum Nalam i guess!.
