Save the Climate – Become a Green Idol today!
Green Idol is an initiative by Greenpeace India that campaigns for a law on usage of renewable energy sources by 2010. At the time of posting this article, the number of people signed on was 11982. When it hits the 1 million mark, the petition is gonna be sent to the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Celebrities endorsing the campaign are Cyrus Broacha, Kunal Kapoor, Nagarjuna, Randeep Hooda and more.
Climate change is quite a pressing issue, as the current rate of climate change is much higher than what scientists had predicted a few years ago. Visit the Green Idol website and sign up for the petition (chances are, you’ve already received my invitation friend!). Also, join the orkut community for climate change and keep it active!
